The Centre for Law as Protection invites you to join a special symposium celebrating two new books on Queer Encounters and Queer Engagements with International Law, edited by Tamsin Phillipa Paige and Claerwen O’Hara. The symposium will facilitate a discussion on these new books and their contributions, pushing the boundaries of feminist and queer theory analysis in international law.

The symposium will feature Prof Gina Heathcote (Newcastle Law School), Prof Dianne Otto (Melbourne Law School), Dr Sophie Rigney (RMIT), and Associate Prof Wayne Morgan (ANU College of Law), speaking about the history and importance of the queering international law project, the experience of producing the books, and the significance of the content of the books.
