Evaluation of the Justice-based Impacts of the Public Intoxication Reform

Associate Professor Tania Penovic and Associate Professor Maria O’Sullivan are part of a multi-disciplinary team investigating the justice-based impacts of public intoxication law reforms.

The project is led by Professor Kyllie Cripps from Monash University, funded by Victoria’s Department of Justice and Community Safety looks at the impact of criminal justice reforms on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, members of the Sudanese and South Sudanese community, young people, people who have alcohol and other drug needs, and people experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
